Monologue Jokes About Iowa Caucuses, Verizon Wireless, Mayan Prophecy and Newt Gingrich in Iowa

Verizon Wireless has decided not to charge subscribers a $2 fee for making credit card payments online or by phone. A spokesman for Verizon was like, “Damn you social media! Damn you all to hell!”

There was a 4.0 earthquake in . . . Ohio. 2012 has barely started and I’m already afraid of the Mayan prophecy.

Newt Gingrich says he doesn’t expect to win the Iowa caucuses. Gingrich is like, “If my rivals would have said more positive things about me and less about themselves, I feel I could have won this thing.”

Newt Gingrich said negative attack ads hurt him in Iowa. Gingrich is like, “I feel I can beat all the other candidates if they spend their time saying positive things about me and negative things about themselves.”
